Mission
The School of Missions and Ministries exists to prepare students for life-long vocational Christian ministry.
Students who major in the School of Missions and Ministries will learn to love and serve the church from a world-class faculty who have numerous years in a context that marries local-church ministry and serious academic study. To offer hands-on training, we help facilitate opportunities for students to serve in local churches, take cross-cultural mission trips, take trips to seminary conferences, and offer fellowships to enrich the educational experience.
Seminary Partnerships
For our students who wish to pursue seminary, we partner with several of our Southern Baptist seminaries to expedite graduate work. This means that students who graduate with a B.A. in Missions and Ministries will receive course credit or advanced standing toward their Masters degree, thus saving both time and money. Currently, we have partnerships with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Gateway Seminary.
