Wildcat Welcome Week

Welcome to your new home away from home! The transition from high school to college is one of the most exciting times in life, and we want to do our best to help you navigate this transition well. From the moment you arrive on campus, our orientation staff will walk you through your first week at Louisiana Christian University.

When you arrive on campus, our Residence Life Staff and Wildcat Welcome Week Staff will be here to greet you. Freshmen will move in on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, when you will be directed to your assigned residence hall for check-in.

This orientation will be an invaluable tool in helping you learn the ropes of being a student at LCU. You will also have the opportunity to form lifelong friendships!

Wildcat Welcome Week orientation is part of the College Connection (CC100), your freshman orientation class, and is mandatory for the CC100 course. A registration fee will be linked to the CC100 course and included in your tuition and fees for the Fall Semester. Make your plans now to be here; we know you will have a blast!
