NOBTS president to speak in Tuesday’s Chapel

The president of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary will speak at Louisiana Christian University’s Chapel service on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Guinn Auditorium.

Dr. Jamie Dew, a professor of Christian theology, and his wife. Dr. Tara Dew, will speak in a special Q&A session.

Dew holds a Ph.D. in theological studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

Prior to his coming to NOBTS, Dew served as vice president of Undergraduate Studies and Distance Learning at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also served as a senior pastor and both an adult and youth minister.

Tara Dew holds a Doctorate in Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Training, equipping, and supporting wives in ministry is one of her missions.

The Dews have been married 22 years and are the parents of two sets of twins – Natalie and Nathan, Samantha and Samuel.
