LCU to welcome Brittany Jones as first C3 speaker of fall semester
Understanding and combatting today’s “woke culture” will be the topic of Louisiana Christian University’s first Christ, Church, Culture (C3) event of the fall 2023 semester with returning speaker Brittany Jones.
Jones, an attorney, graduated from Louisiana Christian University in 2014 and earned her law degree from Regent University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C., and Kansas.
“We are pleased to host our alum Brittany Jones for her second C3 Seminar at LCU,” said LCU President Dr. Rick Brewer. “Brittany, a Smith Scholar graduate of LCU, now serves in a strategic role in Kansas protecting religious freedom for the citizens of Kansas. Ms. Jones will challenge and encourage our campus family with her insight and experience regarding cultural issues confronting religious organizations in the 21st Century. “
Jones’ focus is primarily on issues of religious freedom, life, education choice, and combatting pornography. She has the privilege of shepherding policy through the legislative as well as administrative process while working alongside policymakers at all levels of government.
The event is free and open to the public. It will be held in Guinn Auditorium on Monday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m.
