Rhonda Wilson, Ph.D.

Adjunct Instructor

About

Dr. Wilson’s background experiences include over 30 years of experience in public PK-12 school systems and three years of full-time experience in higher education, with my final position being Coordinator of the Department of Education at LSUA. She has been an adjunct professor for both graduate and undergraduate courses for the LCU Department of Education for the last two years. Additional adjunct experiences include graduate courses for Louisiana Tech University and the University of Louisiana Monroe.
If asked about her specific area of expertise, she would have to say leadership, focusing on relationships. She has had the pleasure of being a teacher, legislative analyst, principal, supervisor of Title I programs, director of curricula, CAEP coordinator, and assistant professor of education. The saying that ā€œothers donā€™t care what you know until they know that you careā€ rings true throughout her thirty-five years of working in education. Leadership effectiveness is often a direct link to oneā€™s ability to lead through example.
