About
Mrs. Nona Jordan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts focusing on Education and a Master of Arts in Student Personnel from Northwestern State University. With over 15 years of professional experience in the housing sector at both Northwestern State University and Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Mrs. Jordan has excelled in managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with standards, teaching a Residence Life course, and participating in various university committees, including the enrollment management, student leadership, and student handbook committees.
In addition to her professional achievements, Mrs. Jordan is actively engaged in her community. She has served on the Board of Directors for The Boys and Girls Club, as President of the Les Amies Service Organization, and on several St. Mary’s School committees.
Nona cherishes time with her family, which includes her husband, Andy, and their son, Conor. Conor is set to attend Louisiana Christian University in the fall of 2025, where he will play baseball for the LCU Wildcats. Nona enjoys watching Conor play baseball, reading, and cooking in her leisure time.
