Erin Stokes, Ph.D.

About

The current superintendent of Grant Parish School Board, Dr. Stokes, is a wife and a mother of two who finished her doctorate at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She previously served as the principal of Pineville Elementary School. She was a Title I Coordinator for the Rapides Parish School System, where she coached and supported principals and teachers in Title I Schools. Before that, she was an instructional coach at a local middle school and taught 7th and 8th graders for nine years–both regular education and special education. She is passionate about educational reform, both on state and national levels. She also serves as the worship leader at the church that her husband pastors and reflects Christ as she serves in various leadership positions.
