"I can confidently say that studying theatre at Louisiana Christian University is not just a place that trained me to be an actor, but also provided a community that nurtured my soul. TLC equipped me with the technical knowledge and expertise to succeed, not only in the industry, but also integrated core Christian values that has prepared me for various professional fields. Choosing to study here means choosing to invest in your whole self and growing in integrity, empathy, and compassion, while preparing you to be a professional actor."

"TLC helped set the foundation I needed to excel in the film industry through intensive training using the acting techniques of Uta Hagen and Stanislavski, who help keep you in the moment and personalize your surroundings in each character. I have used those skills in all of my auditions and brought those ideas to set when called for. Theatre Practicum classes helped me develop discipline and skills that I've used to this day (woodworking in particular)."

"LCU's theatre department allowed me the opportunity to grow as an actor and develop my storytelling in their multifaceted black box theatre. Professor Huffman has a wide knowledge of performing, from Stanislavski to Shakespeare, and a deep understanding of the film industry. Her combination as a teacher, a director, a talent agent (at my time there), and a friend has lit a fire in my soul to pursue my creative arts of acting and filmmaking. I'm blessed for the opportunity to have joined this theatre program and would highly recommend LCU to anyone who is interested in a theatre arts degree!"
