About Tabitha Huffman, MFA
Ms. Huffman received her Masters of Fine Arts in Acting at Florida Atlantic University. She holds Bachelor Degrees in Theatre Arts and Psychology from Louisiana Christian University. Before landing at her alma mater in 2005, Ms. Huffman worked as an adjunct instructor at Palm Beach Atlantic, Florida Atlantic University and New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. Ms. Huffman’s favorite acting credits include Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, Cabaret as Sally Bowles, Tempest as Miranda, A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Hermia, and Sylvia as Sylvia. Her top directing credits include Miracle Worker, Into the Woods, The Boys Next Door, Oklahoma!, and Twelfth Night. In 2009, Ms. Huffman founded Trinity Talent Agency, one top agencies for film and television in the Southeast. She managed a roster of over 200 actors who are actively training and pursuing careers in film and television. Although under new ownership, Trinity continues to provide a vehicle for student actors to audition and work in the professional acting world during and after their studies at Louisiana Christian University. Her students and clients have worked on top rated television shows and films including Pitch Perfect, The Campaign, Identity Thief, Bessie, American Horror Story, NCIS: New Orleans, and Scream Queens. They have also appeared in National Commercials such as Nike, Popeye’s, Tostitos, Nutella and Toyota. Ms. Huffman served as a guest panelist annually at the New Orleans Actors Expo and in several agent reviews spanning the southeast region. Her vast knowledge of the “acting business” ensures that her students will have all of the tools they need to navigate their career path upon graduation. With her husband, Jeremy, and children, Olivia and Noah, Ms. Huffman is thrilled to be teaching at Louisiana Christian University, a place she calls home although she grew up in Hawaii. “When I first stepped onto this stunning campus as a freshman, I fell in love with its beauty. I replaced palm trees with pine trees.”
