Louisiana Christian to hold annual fall revival

Louisiana Christian University will hold its annual fall campus revival Oct. 22–24 at 11 a.m. each day in Guinn Auditorium.

Dr. Philip Robertson, lead pastor of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Deville, will speak from John 7 all three days.

LCU’s Elevate and Voices will perform, as well as a praise band of faculty and staff members.

Robertson holds a degree in pastoral ministries from Liberty University, and a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as the senior pastor of Philadephia Baptist Church since 1995. He was a member of the Louisiana Baptist Convention Executive Board (1997-2003), including two years as president of that Board and two terms as president of the Louisiana Baptist Convention, from 2003-2005.

He has also served on the Board of Trustees for NOBTS. Robertson continues to serve on committees and boards for his local association and for the Louisiana Baptist Convention. He currently serves as chair of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee.
