Hurricane Delta Update: LCU Thursday afternoon, Friday classes will be remote

Louisiana Christian University continues its preparations for Hurricane Delta. Please note the following regarding course instruction and campus operations.

  • No in-person courses will be held on campus from Thursday at 11 a.m. through Friday.
  • Course instruction will continue remotely after noon on Thursday. Students will be notified about when to return to campus. All activities scheduled for Thursday and Friday evenings will be rescheduled.
  • Residential students are encouraged to leave campus by noon Thursday. Residence Life will email residents a form to complete documenting plans to remain on campus or evacuate. Campus dining will continue to provide meals.
  • All Louisiana Christian University offices will remain open Thursday. A decision regarding Friday’s schedule will be made Thursday. Faculty may teach their classes online from campus or home.

The College will continue to monitor Hurricane Delta. Updates will be posted on the College’s website and official social media accounts.

Information will also be communicated through LCU email accounts and the Wildcat Alert system.
