About Sara Blazek, Ph.D.

Dr. Blazek serves as the coordinator for the Math department. She has been teaching at Louisiana Christian University since 2018 and is a graduate of LCU as well. Her graduate studies were completed at Louisiana Tech University where she earned a Masters in Mathematics and Statistics and her Ph.D. in Computational Analysis and Modeling. Dr. Blazek has taught a variety of courses ranging from Intermediate Algebra to Numerical Analysis along with computer science courses. Her research interests consist of using statistics and mathematical modeling to discover trends in areas such as graduation rates and course passing rates. She is a member of a local church as well as the Gideons Auxiliary (Pineville camp). Her interests outside of class include spending time with her growing family, sports, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.
