About Mollie Wise, MAC, PLPC

Mollie Wise is the Coordinator of the Psychology Department at Louisiana Christian University. She came to the LCU psychology department in 2021 with 16 years of experience as a mental health counselor. For about 9 of those years, she worked in the State of Illinois. She has sought the specialization of trauma throughout her career. She has worked at Children’s Advocacy Center as an advocate for abused and neglected children, has worked as a mental health counselor in a public mental health agency, and has worked at domestic violence center. Through this she has work experience in advocacy, individual, family, and group counseling, and crisis intervention. Has received special training in trauma treatment and behavioral modification as well. Mollie Wise serves as Associate Professor of Psychology, teaching multiple classes within the psychology curriculum. She is also the co-sponsor for the Psychology Departments’ club and Psi Chi Honor Society. She is honored to be a part of the Louisiana Christian University faculty and looks forward to helping the next generation of Psychologists learn skills, theories, and overall, how to make a difference in the world.
