About

Dr. Lensie Stanley grew up in Anacoco, Louisiana. As an only child to a high school math teacher and an auto mechanic, she had a wonderful childhood filled with love. She started her unofficial teaching career at an early age by playing school in her bedroom. After graduating high school, she attended Louisiana Tech University where she met her husband, Justin, and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education. She attended American College of Education where she earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership and her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. She continued to add the additional certifications of Teacher Mentor and Reading Specialist to her state license. Her classroom experiences include teaching second, fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth grades. She has experience as an Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal at an elementary school. She is excited to share her professional knowledge and experiences to further develop future and current teachers.

Dr. Stanley and her husband, Justin, have two wonderful children. Katelynn attends LSU in Baton Rouge and is pursuing her dreams of becoming a veterinarian. Their son, Dillon, keeps them busy by playing soccer and football. Her favorite things are drinking sweet tea and coffee, reading a great book, and mowing the grass. Her family recently moved into the area and are excited to make Central Louisiana their new home!
