About Dr. Shaina Goudeau, P.T., D.P.T.

Dr. Goudeau is responsible for overseeing the Nursing and Allied Health Programs of Louisiana Christian University, she also serves as Program Director for the Physical Therapist Assistant Program as well as Associate Professor of Allied Health; she has maintained her position with the college since April 2008. Dr. Goudeau received her Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology in 2000 from University of Louisiana at Monroe in Monroe, LA, Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 2003 from University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, FL, a Master of Educational Leadership from Louisiana College, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2014 from Alabama State University in Montgomery, AL. Dr. Goudeau has practiced in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, military orthopedic clinics, inpatient rehab, and acute care with an emphasis in orthopedics and neuro rehab. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2001 and also served as a credentialed APTA Instructor for the “Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program”. Dr. Goudeau is an active member with the American Physical Therapy Association and Louisiana Physical Therapy Association and has served on the Advisory Committee for the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board. Her community involvement includes volunteering at the Hope House, Central Louisiana Food Bank, Veterans Affairs Homeless Stand-down, and as a CASA volunteer for children in foster care. Shaina is married to her husband, Yosha, and is a mother of two children, Brodie, and Morgan.
