Dr. Roy Luo, Ph.D.

About

Dr. Luo graduated from The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley with a Ph.D. in Business Administration concentrated in Finance. He has 15 years professional experience in international business, financial management, and securities  investment. His research interests focus on corporate finance, and international financial markets & institutions. He served as an editorial board member and referees for 12 international finance journals. He is also a distinguished scholar with more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and book chapters. He received the best paper in finance award at the Academy of Economics and Finance (AEF) Conference in 2012 and was nominated as Minnie Stevens Piper Professor for teaching excellence in 2023-2024.
