C. Myles Roberts, Ph.D.

About
Dr. Myles Roberts majored in English at Louisiana College and graduated with his BA in 2002. He went on to study the Liberal Arts at LSU in Shreveport (MLA), ethics and social justice at Howard University’s School of Divinity (MA), theology and the arts at Duke Divinity School (ThM), and English literature and religion at Baylor University (PhD).
His doctoral dissertation concerns the many biblical allusions in Measure for Measure, Shakespeare’s most biblically-interested play and his first written entirely under the patronage of King James (the guy who commissioned the King James Bible).
Roberts returned to LCU in the Fall of 2025, where he still holds the intramural football freshman record for flag-guarding penalties.
He lives with his wife, Allie, a social worker, and their son, Jackie.
