Graduation is Saturday, May 9, 2026 in Guinn Auditorium
Commencement will be an open event, and no tickets will be required for entry, so everyone is encouraged to attend and support our graduates.
All candidates are asked to arrive 45 minutes prior to your Commencement time and are required to be present in academic attire (cap & gown). The tassel is to be worn on the right side. Men are to remove their caps for prayer only. Men should wear white shirts & dark ties with dark pants and black shoes. Women should wear simple dresses with dress shoes, keeping in mind that you will be ascending and descending several stairs when receiving your diploma cover on the platform.
Diplomas for December and May graduates will be available for pick up at the Registrar's Office immediately following the Commencement Ceremony. ALL HOLDS (including Business Office, Financial Aid, Library, and Spiritual/Cultural) must be taken care of by Wednesday, May 6th to ensure that your diploma can be released on the day of the Commencement Ceremony. Diplomas not distributed on Saturday, May 9th will be available for pick up at the Registrar's Office beginning Tuesday, May 12th. Diplomas for graduates who will be completing their degree requirements during the Summer Term will be available for pickup beginning Monday, July 27th. If you live more than 50 miles from campus and are unable to pick up your diploma, you must email registrar@lcuniversity.edu to request for your diploma to be mailed, including your name and full address.
Candidates for Graduation
As per the Graduation Requirements listed in the current LCU Undergraduate Catalog, and as per the General Graduation Requirements listed in the most recent LCU Graduate Catalog, all students must complete an application for graduation from Louisiana Christian University prior to graduation. Please see the deadlines listed below. Undergraduate students may apply once they earn 80 credit hours toward their anticipated degree. Graduate students should apply no later than the first two weeks of class in the semester in which they intend to graduate. Students may obtain graduation applications from the Registrar’s Office or the Registrar's page of the LCU website. Students who change majors or anticipated date of graduation should NOTIFY the Office of the Registrar as soon as possible. There is no need to reapply for graduation. NOTE: Beginning in 2027, summer graduates will walk in the December Commencement Ceremony upon successful completion of all degree requirements.

Regalia orders for the May 2026 Commencement will begin January 19, 2026. Graduates have the option to choose free shipping to the Bookstore or direct shipping to home for $15.95.
Orders must be placed by March 8, 2026, for free shipping to the LCU Bookstore. These will be available for pick up at the Spring Grad Fair on April 9, 2026.
Orders placed after March 8, 2026, will only have the option to direct ship to your home for a $15.95 shipping fee. Orders shipping to your home will ship approximately 3 weeks from the order date. Please allow standard transit time for delivery.
All regalia must be paid for at the time the order is placed. The last day to order regalia is March 30, 2026.
