Wildcat Welcome Weekend

Welcome to your new home away from home! The transition from high school to college is one of the most exciting times in life, and we want to do our best to help you navigate this transition well. From the moment you arrive on campus, our orientation staff will walk you through your first week at Louisiana Christian University.

When you arrive on campus, our Residence Life Staff and Wildcat Navigator Staff will be here to greet you. Freshmen will move in on Thursday, August 15, 2024, when you will be directed to your assigned residence hall for check-in. Our Wildcat Navigator staff will be there to give you an orientation packet that includes your Wildcat Welcome t-shirt.

Orientation will be an invaluable tool in helping you learn the ropes of being a student at Louisiana Christian University. You will also have the opportunity to form lifelong friendships.

Wildcat Welcome Weekend orientation is part of the College Connection (CC100), your freshmen orientation class, and is mandatory for the CC100 course. A registration fee of $250.00 for Wildcat Welcome Weekend is linked to the CC100 course and will be included in your tuition and fees for the Fall Semester. Make your plans now to be here; we know you will have a blast!
