Overview
Recently, Cottingham underwent multifold renovations. In 2016, roofing was repaired, some interior repairs took place, new furniture was added, and televisions were purchased for the common areas. Additionally, the first-floor common kitchen was remodeled with a new countertop, sink, tile backsplash, and appliances. Each dorm room has been redone with new flooring, and walls have been painted. White Parlor also received new flooring, paint, artwork, wall hangings, and furniture.
Cottingham embraces a family-style atmosphere. There are decorative study rooms located on each wing for learning purposes or to just hang out with friends. There is one laundry room on each floor free to LCU students.
Eight Residence Assistants (RAs) are located within the dorm to serve the girl's needs. The first floor has 2, the second floor has 3, and the third floor has 3 RAs; Along with one Resident Director and Resident Director Assistant. RAs host events for girls on their wing each semester. Events include movie nights, birthday parties, themed parties, and holiday parties.
A-Wing
This unique style room has a view looking to Alexandria Hall and the Student Center. These rooms have been newly renovated. Each room is furnished with two built-in closets, two movable beds, two movable desks, and two movable dressers. Each room has its own sink and shares bathroom facilities with the girls on their hall.
B-Wing
This style room has views of Cottingham parking lot and the LCU football field. Each room is furnished with two built-in closets, two movable beds, two movable dressers and two movable desks. Each room has its own sink and shares bathroom facilities with the girls on their hall. These rooms have been newly renovated.
C-Wing
This style room with a great view of Cottingham Forest. Each room is furnished with two built-in desks and closets, and two movable beds. Each room has its own sink and shares bathroom facilities with the girls on their hall. These rooms have been newly renovated.
D-Wing
This wing is arranged in suites. Each room has its own sink and shares bathroom facilities with the adjacent room. This room is furnished with two movable beds, two built-in desks and two built-in closets. These rooms have been newly renovated.

Please note that private rooms in Cottingham Hall are given only on a medical needs basis.
