The Program is unique with its 15-hour healthcare/behavioral health concentration and its biblical worldview foundation. Academically melding the values of social work and the Christian faith is integral to the application of Social Work skills in the marketplace.

The Social Work Behavioral Healthcare Education and Workforce Improvement Project MSW Stipend Application & Information

The LCU MSW stipend aids students in completing their MSW degree with a healthcare/behavioral health specialization. The overall goal of this project is to encourage students to commit to working in the field of behavioral health in the 9-parish region of Central Louisiana post MSW graduation. The stipend amount is $3,000 ($1500 per semester) during the recipient’s advanced standing/second year of the MSW Program.
