Louisiana Christian Homecoming Week festivities set for Oct. 13-18
Louisiana Christian University will hold its annual Homecoming and Spirit Week activities Oct. 13-18, culminating in the football game against Nelson University on Saturday at 6 p.m. and the crowning of the Homecoming queen during halftime.
The following students make up this year’s Homecoming court:
Senior Court
- Camille Allgood, history major from Denham Springs
- Lexi Broussard, exercise science: clinical wellness major from Maurice
- Claire Cullen, exercise science: clinical wellness major from Livingston
Junior Court
- Journi Singleton, history major from Sulphur
- Eva Villamor, biological sciences and chemistry major from Ville Platte
Sophomore Court
- Emily Marks, social work major from Rayne
- Jeri Vigé, applied biology and missions & ministries major from DeQuincy
Freshman Court
- Riley Nickens, missions & ministries major from Baton Rouge
- Destanee Stewart, psychology major from Natchitoches
Events scheduled for Homecoming Week include:
- Homecoming Chapel, Tuesday, 11 a.m. in Guinn Auditorium
- Homecoming Honey, Tuesday, 7 p.m. in the Game Room
- Miss LCU pageant, Thursday, 7 p.m. in Guinn Auditorium, $5 for students, $10 for general admission
- Tricycle Race, Friday, 1 p.m., Alexandria Hall parking lot
- Homecoming Hoedown, 7-10 p.m. on the President’s Home side lawn
- Encore performance of Theatre Louisiana Christian’s production of “The Play that Goes Wrong,” 9 a.m. in Martin Performing Arts Center
- Gene Rushing Alumni Throwdown, Saturday, noon-2 p.m., HO West Field House
- Tailgate, Saturday, 2-4 p.m. in the Quad; $10 for lunch, T-shirts $20
- Homecoming Choral Experience, Saturday, 2-4 p.m., Presser Auditorium in Weathersby Fine Arts Building
- Alumni Author Panel, Saturday, 2 p.m., Library
