About Dr. Andrew Magee

Dr. Andrew Magee is the Coordinator for the Criminal Justice Program at Louisiana Christian University.  He comes to LCU with an extensive military background having served over 29 years in military service.  His background includes broad experience through numerous public safety and emergency response operations. Most notably, Dr. Magee actively participated in response to the Los Angeles Riots, the San Francisco earthquake, hurricanes Gustav, Katrina and Rita, and Deep Water Horizons.  Throughout his military career, Dr. Magee has held a variety of command and staff-level assignments and participated in numerous overseas deployments which included combat operations in Iraq.  In continuance of his desire to serve, Dr. Magee is POST certified and commissioned as a law enforcement officer, and he serves as a Reserve officer with the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s office. Lastly, Dr. Magee is an elder, Bible teacher, the founder of Grow and Go Ministries, and he is committed to discipleship and the Great Commission. Dr. Magee is married to the former Anna Marie Ferrigno with their three children: Rebekah, Daniel, and Stephen.
