About Stephanie L Belim PhD, RN
Stephanie L Belim PhD, RN has been in academia for 6 years, currently and nursing for 21 years. Dr. Belim currently works as an adjunct instructor at Louisiana Christian University and is full-time faculty as the Lab/Simulation Coordinator for Chattahoochee Technical College, Nursing Department. Her expertise in simulation has been since 2009 in which she implemented her practicum project, “Utilization of Simulation in a Complex Diagnosis.” She also teaches in Fundamental of Nursing and Mental Health.
Her professional career outside of academia includes recently retiring from the United States Navy Reserve Nurse Corps at the rank of O-5/Commander. She has received numerous awards as well as serving in Kandahar, Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom.
Dr. Belim volunteers as the treasurer for her local Nurse’s Association chapter and is an Assistant Co-Pastor at Liberty Church in Marietta, GA.
An important aspect of her life is family — her husband David, three sons, Quinton, Christion, and Eli one daughter Elise and one dog Gracie.
