Master of Education in Educational Leadership

The Louisiana Christian University Master of Education Degree program is the most affordable online degree of its kind in the state and can be completed in just 18 months. The program is 100% online and courses are taught by doctoral professors, some who are still serving as highly effective school administrators!

We make our degrees affordable by:

  • offering a highly competitive, private, Christian education at or below state school prices. See tuition rates HERE.
  • Making TEACH grants available! Call the Financial Aid office at 318-487-7719 to see if you’re eligible for the federal TEACH grant which covers much the cost of this degree.

This 36-hour M.Ed. degree program is available for candidates who:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university.
  • Have a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative grade point average on all previously completed coursework (undergraduate and graduate).

Add-on Leadership certification courses are also offered for candidates who already have a master’s degree from a regionally accredited university. (See plan of study at the end of this document.)

ALL students must apply online at https://my.lcuniversity.edu/ICS/Admissions/Graduate/ for acceptance to the Graduate School MEd program. Assistance with the application process and all other inquiries about this graduate program should be made directly to LCU School of Education by emailing education@lcuniversity.edu or by calling the School of Education at 318-487-7307.

“LCU’s TEACH/MAT program is the sole reason my career in education continued after my first year of teaching. The support received from the professors, mentors and administration is by far the best I ever received as a student.  My experience progressed from the TEACH program to the MAT and then the M.Ed. I would not trade my LCU experience for any other educational experience.”
